@AlexEdgerton That particular engine of yours came out in 1998. In all my years of specializing in Toyota/Lexus cars I’ve only replaced about 5 of them. They are made by Denso and are extremely durable.
The intake removal is actually not that bad.

@FTT_7 @Toyota Ask for an appointment with the area parts representative. Be nice and explain your side. I have a few customers that had there RAV4 painted by Toyota. I can’t remember when the expiration was but they do make exceptions.
