Listen I’m not about to spend months convincing ppl that live on the internet that 20,000 ppl in that arena every other night, jerseys everywhere, record after record, crowd swells every time he touched the ball in the 40K game, from MVP chants to chanting his SON’S name…that any of that ever happened. I was there. I know it was real. And for every “uNgRatEfUl” keyboard warrior that didn’t watch these games at all, there’s a thousand die hards that embraced, loved and fought for him on the frontline while he was here. The ppl that want this idea to be the only truth have always hated this franchise and live in jealousy so this fits what they want to believe bc it helps them cope that he was even here at all when THEY themselves never wanted it, like the ones they point at (ironic). But it’s real, it happened, I’m sorry you weren’t there to feel the energy… and those of us that suffered that year will always have a special place in our hearts for him for that title.
