Through a referral I got a job done today for $299(was tipped $40).

3. Instead of asking:

My anxiety overtook me going out to knock the last few days and here are 3 big lessons I learned during the process.

1) Fear is a mile wide, and an inch deep. We perceive it as a massive ocean. Then we step into it, we realize it's just a puddle.

2. I make excuses for almost everything(especially for cold calling context but I believe it leaks into personal life)

Understanding that this comes from being unprepared and from my skills being underdeveloped. Both are things I can work on!

Decide to run my first Facebook ads yesterday! Excited to see what comes of them and I also got my business set up for Google local service ads

Got a service from the HOA president’s Facebook post! Was only a small 1 story so I sold it for $99! She was impressed by the service and she also posted me around.

Got a service scheduled for today from it, haven’t quoted but it’s a 2 story so I’m looking at $199-$299 price.

Same day I got service 2 and 3 I got to chat with the HOA president’s husband. He took my card and said he would talk to her and get it posted in their Facebook group.

Turns out she called and I did it(her son has his own window cleaning company in Arizona)

First guy was not angry. I told him I was brand new and to give me any feedback. He definitely did and he actually went above and beyond to help me out and figure out areas I could be better in.

People tend to want to help people and I love it.
