A memory that I've never shared in detail:

In October 2022, the night before a Bills game, I was in a really bad place mental health-wise. Not at the level of March/April of last year, but still pretty bad. A lot of people DM'd me to check in on me, and try to pick me up, and it worked. People had my back.

One of those people who reached out was Jordan Poyer. Completely unprompted. He saw that a Bills fan was having a rough time, and wanted to help. I'm not gonna share any screenshots, for his privacy's sake, but he gave me a short, but meaningful pep talk. I've never forgotten it, and never will.

And remember, this was the night before a Bills game. Know what Bills game that was? The Chiefs game. The one he was driven 15 hours to, by fan, so he could be there for his teammates. During those 15 hours, he also took the time to be there for me, a fan.

I know I'm not the only one with a Jordan Poyer memory like that. He has had our backs since he arrived in Buffalo, whether it's a teammate or a fan. I don't agree with a lot of Jordan's or Rachel's politics, but they are both amazing human beings, and I'm going to miss them in Buffalo.

I can't wait to welcome Jordan back to Buffalo when he gets his well-deserved Wall of Fame honor. And maybe, just maybe, I'll get to tell him how far I've come since that night he reached out to me to be there for me.

Gonna miss you in the 716, #21. They don't make 'em like you very often. 🫶

The amount of ignorance being spewed at me right now is next level. So for all of you that I don’t have time to respond to, 47 people died last year in a blizzard in Buffalo. It’s not about having a dome, it’s about travel to and from the game being impossible and/ or dangerous.

For the Steelers fans calling Buffalo soft, did you want your team flying in today with 65mph wind gusts? I don’t think they would have done that so is that soft??
