I was very excited to be featured on the most recent episode of the @azillustrated television series. If you live in Arizona or are planning to visit, Arizona Illustrated is a very good resource to follow for things to do and see.

This image was from the series where the eagle tried to capture a glaucous-winged gull in the Gulf of Alaska. It's hard to watch nature do "nature," but it is how it is. In this case, the gull slipped out of the eagle's talons and the eagle flew off

My idea of slow-mo bird videography! FINALLY, back home after almost 10 weeks in Alaska and topped off by the NECCC photo conference in Amherst, MA last weekend! Epic experiences with phenomenal clients, wildlife, and 5 workshops/tours that were the best of fun for everyone!
This northern sea otter delighted me in Homer! He would dive down, catch Tanner Crabs, swim to the surface and then put him top-down on his belly to immobilize them while he ate! It was amazing to see this adaptive behavior!
