@ealainfalamh @xashtreex @AwayDaysFB Exactly this. He was clearly interfering with playing because he scored about a second after this screenshot! The defender stepped out so was going in the wrong direction to the player who was then left alone to score. The rule is absolutely ridiculous.

@CCFC_jules The rules really need to be changed. Indirect free kick for point blank handball, and offside in the same phase of play should be offside. I have no allegiance either way but I'm really annoyed by this!

@JamTarts I only watched the last game of the season and have no skin in the game but nearly an hour later and I'm so annoyed on your behalf. The laws of the game need to change so penalties aren't given for point blank handball, and offside in the build up should still count. I'm so sorry
