I just love being able to utilise a child’s own creations within our activities! 🪄

They had made this gorgeous magic wand in the outdoor provision, so of course we adapted our session and used it within our phonology activities! ✨️

Christmas team celebrations in November…too early? 👀 Never! 🎅🎄♥️

A fabulous time off timetable on Friday last week, first stop Albert Schloss for some festive food & fizz.🥂

A huge thank you to our wonderful team for all of their hard work this term! ✨

[Rebecca Birds @Rebecca_Birds]

Another great joint working session with Joe this week!

If talking about talking was a competition...we'd definitely win 🤣🏅

[Language Box @LanguageBoxSLT]

Cannot believe how quickly the first half term has gone, we are glad to be back in settings this week - time is flying! ⏰

[Rebecca Birds @Rebecca_Birds]

Back to work after half term, and what better way to get going than a joint working day!

Collaboration and fresh new ideas all round 😊💡💜

[Rebecca Birds @Rebecca_Birds]

Congratulations to all of my 'Commitment to Communication' award winners this week 😁👏💜✨️

These members of staff have all worked hard this year to embed different strategies that I've shared with them😁

Keep up the hard work! ✨️

Hoping this sunshine continues over the bank holiday weekend…happy Friday everyone! 🌞

[Rebecca Birds @Rebecca_Birds]

Fridays spent working in my home office 😊☀️

Got to make the most of the sunshine ☀️

Today's main focus has been attention and listening activities and tail sounds 😊💜

Mrs Bamber - the best of the best! 💜💫

[Rebecca Birds @Rebecca_Birds]

This week I was honoured to be asked to attend an assembly to celebrate Mrs Bamber's retirement!😊

I've worked with this lovely lady during every visit to @teresaoflisieux for the last four and a half years working for @LanguageBoxSLT

A true shining star, you will be missed!💫

[Language Box @LanguageBoxSLT]

Happiest of birthdays to our wonderful Becca! 💜🌼

[Rebecca Birds @Rebecca_Birds]

Celebrating your birthday working in school is always great 😊🎉

Today, I received this gorgeous card from some of the lovely children and staff I work with 🎂💐🎉

Bubbles & speech therapy, they go together so well! 🫧

[Rebecca Birds @Rebecca_Birds]

Who knew that a bubble machine and some small bubble wands could create such fun and excitement! 😁

One little boy squealed with excitement during the session 😁

Unfortunately no after picture this week, as it created so much mess we had to dry everything out ha!

[Language Box @LanguageBoxSLT]

We have such kind schools 🌺 Thank you! ✨💜

[Rebecca Birds @Rebecca_Birds]

The most beautiful flowers from one of my schools this week...just because 😊💕🌷

#thankyou

[Language Box @LanguageBoxSLT]

Thank you for sharing - some fantastic sessions underway with Lynda! 💜

[Language Box @LanguageBoxSLT]

My kind of before & after! 🎄🎅 ♥️

A Christmas tuff tray extravaganza using @widgitsoftware to support communication - as always!

Have a feeling we’re going to be finding (& stepping into!) glitter for the foreseeable…😳😂✨

[Language Box @LanguageBoxSLT]

The most wonderful staff to work with!

Thank you for your commitment to enhancing communication within your setting. 💜✨

[Rebecca Birds @Rebecca_Birds]

This week, I found out that I will no longer be working with 2 members of staff that I've worked with since I began working in their school.

So I had to drop a few little gifts in for them to say thank you for all of their hard work over the last few years 😊🥰💜

[Language Box @LanguageBoxSLT]

Congratulations to our team member of the half term…Becca! @Rebecca_Birds

Thank you for all of your hard work, it does not go unnoticed.

Becca has received consistently excellent feedback, demonstrated heaps of creativity & has generally gone ‘above & beyond.’ ✨💜🌹

[Language Box @LanguageBoxSLT]

The most wholesome way to round off the working week!

Happy Friday everyone. 💫💜

[Rebecca Birds @Rebecca_Birds]

I have certainly felt the love this week 🥰💜

A child I supported throughout his Early Year journey (2 years ago) spotted me in the corridor this week and asked did I remember him, of course I did!

He said he missed me so much that he could cry and gave me a big hug! 🥺💜

[Language Box @LanguageBoxSLT]

The more mess, the more fun! What a brilliant day with Becca & Joe. 💫

[Rebecca Birds @Rebecca_Birds]

Myself and Joe have had quite a messy afternoon in school today! 🤣

Cornflour all over us! You know its been a good day in school when you come home covered in all kinds!

Today alone I've had orange paint splashes, cornflour and fairy liquid all over me!

[Rebecca Birds @Rebecca_Birds]

I just could not resist buying these books when I spotted them earlier this week 😍📚

Gorgeous sensory books to add to my collection! Every page is so colourful and allows for a different tactile experience 😊💜

I cannot wait to introduce these during my sessions 😊💜

[Language Box @LanguageBoxSLT]

What an exciting few days we’ve had in setting! Thank you @cosmo_filisia - we can’t wait to try out more activities this term! 🤩💜🌈

[Language Box @LanguageBoxSLT]

We have been looking forward to this for a number of months! Lots of GLP learning happening for our team this week. 💫💜

[Rebecca Birds @Rebecca_Birds]

Cannot wait to get started with the 'Gestalt Language Processors Conference' this week with @TheSpeechDen

#CPD #alwayslearning 😁💜

[Language Box @LanguageBoxSLT]

What a busy but wonderful first two weeks of term - happy Friday everyone! 💜

[Rebecca Birds @Rebecca_Birds]

What a busy day it has been today, delivering an introduction day to school sessions for our new starters and a refresher/update day for our current staff too!

We have covered so much in one day today, with lots of fun, demonstrations, and productivity along the way!
