On 11.05.2026, The Government of West Bengal republishes the GOI Notification dated 16.06.2025 for Intent to conduct Census 2027. It is the first step towards conduct of Census 2027 in the state of West Bengal.

जनगणना 2027 के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाने के उद्देश्य से दिल्ली में LED वैन अभियान का शुभारंभ आज जनगणना भवन से भारत के महापंजीयक एवं जनगणना आयुक्त द्वारा हरी झंडी दिखाकर किया गया।

“चलते-फिरते जनगणना सूचना केंद्र” के रूप में तैयार की गई ये वैन लोगों को जनगणना 2027 में भागीदारी के लिए प्रेरित करेंगी।

अपने आसपास इस वैन को ज़रूर देखें।।

The LED Van Campaign across Delhi to spread awareness about Census 2027 was flagged off today from Janganana Bhawan by the Registrar General & Census Commissioner of India.
The vans designed as "Census information hubs on wheels" aim to motivate the public to participate in Census 2027.

Vice President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan filled out the self-enumeration form online for Census 2027, at Uprashtrapati Bhavan today.

Census 2027, undertaken in alignment with the Government’s Digital India initiative, leverages extensive digital technologies to enhance the quality, efficiency, and timeliness of data collection and dissemination.

The Vice President encouraged all residents to participate in the self-enumeration process and submit their household details online during the period notified by their respective State/UT through the official web portal: https://t.co/pXVToyYq0E

The Registrar General and Census Commissioner of India, Shri Mritunjay Kumar Narayan, was present during the enumeration procedure.

President Droupadi Murmu participated in the self-enumeration initiative of the Government of India for Census 2027 at Rashtrapati Bhavan. This Census is being conducted in digital mode for the first time.

Today marks the beginning of the first phase of Census 2027, relating to house listing and housing operations. This census is the first time data collection is being done through digital means. It also empowers the people of India to self-enumerate their household details.

I appeal to the people of India to self-enumerate their household details themselves and participate in the Census process.
