Met up with an old pal of mine at the Ness Cafe in Erskine today. Conversation was pretty dry, some might even say abrasive at times. He’s an old dairy farmer so I understand, not a very fun life.

Hired man told me he could chip in and drive a manual for harvest. Told him these aren’t the type of trucks you can kick your feet up and rest them on the dash. This is the state of the truck now. May have been some sort of language barrier, still scratching my head
