@justinbenson Raising menu prices does not provide the same transparency. Also, a consistent percentage charge on the bill is the only legal way to share tips with ALL staff, including kitchen, and achieve pay equity.

@justinbenson Hi Justin! Adding the 18% service charge to our bills instead of raising prices on our menu items allows us to both guarantee our employees a fair and competitive living hourly wage (regardless of our level of business) AND be transparent about where our guests’ money is going.

Additional tipping is not necessary, however any extra gratuity will be distributed equally amongst all hourly restaurant staff.
