CAF’s Appeals Board didn’t only just strip Senegal of the the title, they also overturned and reduced a number of punishments initially handed out to Morocco by the CAF Disciplinary Board:

Other key rulings:

1. Saibari’s three March ban for meddling with the Senegal goalkeeper’s towel reduced to 2, and his $100,000 fine set aside completely.

2. The ⁠$200,000 fine imposed on Morocco for the conduct of the ball boys in the final reduced to $50,000.

3. The ⁠$15,000 fine imposed on Morocco for their fans’ use of lasers during the final also reduced to $10,000.
