On May 15, 2014 I moved back to the US from Laos. I’ve been feeling super nostalgic recently so over the next week I’ll be sharing some highlights from my time there as the anniversary approaches. But first, how I ended up there:

While we were not as steep an incline as the other communities, it was still a growing population, and this #Census2020 data looks INCREDIBLY off. But hopefully @SEARAC and a few others will take that into consideration in any forthcoming statements on the results.

The Lao community experienced a severe #undercount in the #Census2020 unless you accept that in the 4 years between 2015-2019, almost 17,000+ of us dropped dead or got tired of listing themselves as Lao🙄
