Web performance on phones is a game of milliseconds, & we're constantly looking for optimizations that make the experience faster and smoother.
Here's some performance engineering details on how we reduced scroll jank on Android by 48% (!!!) over the past 3 years: https://t.co/nZ2rgumis6 ๐ธ๏ธโก ๐ฑ#TheFastAndTheCurious

When conversations with friends become podcasts about all-the-things (including confirmation I don't eat kids :)
Thank you @EricaLockheimer and @HumanizeHerNow crew for the platform you've created to elevate women's stories. โถ๏ธ๐๐
You might know her as the "Security Princess" ๐ธ or Parisa Tabriz, the VP and GM of Google Chrome
The new episode of HumanizeHer is live, and I am so excited to share our conversation with her!
We covered a ton of ground in this one, from geeking out on AI tech in Chrome and Google Gemini to the story of how she actually got hacked in college which ended up kicking off her career as a hired hacker for Google, where sheโs been for almost 20 years.
Beyond her incredible career, Parisa has been a phenomenal friend and advisor to HumanizeHer, and she is truly one of the most inspirational people Iโve met.
What I love most about this episode is how real she kept it. We get into the human side of things from feeling unsure about taking on a larger role, working with the film industry with Netflix to ensure cybersecurity roles are represented correctly to her decision to hold off on having kids, especially when we as women face so many "shoulds" about what we're supposed to be doing with our lives right now.
We talked about it all!
This episode is compact, packed with insight, and completely real. I think you're all going to love it.
Check out the B-roll snippet below, and listen/watch to the full episode here or wherever you get your podcast: https://t.co/AGX8toaO7f
And spoiler alert: She won the award for naming all the women on the wall in our studio and won the trophy. ๐
Autofill just got better in @googlechrome!
Now users can securely & automatically fill more complex, annoying-to-type identity numbers from Google Wallet.
I, for one, will never miss looking up & manually typing my Known Travel Number on my phone :)
Excited to ship advanced autofill on mobile with info from Google Wallet... big time saver.
Now Chrome can automatically fill in much more complex info - like your driverโs license details, passport information and Known Traveler Number - securely on Android & iOS.
