After getting extremely close with this coaching staff, talking to my family, and most importantly asking the Lord to give me direction as I made my decision. Iโd like to announce my commitment to @CoastalFootball and ball at the beach! @CoachChadwell BAM๐๐ฆ
There is something magical about a school where professional development is led by the staff. Differentiated and self selcted... Thatโs how we do Innovator Hour @nmbmchiefs#growthmindset#relentless
Dare to do something crazy to boost morale! Your teachers need it. I hope @nmbmchiefs are ready for โThe Puma Catโ. I love my school and school family. #relentless@Rachel_Vaughn_
The leadership team @nmbmchiefs spent some time brainstorming how to prioritize high yield strategies during uncertain times. Thank you @flipyrthinking for always pushing my thinking. Our students depend on it!
I could not agree with this more. @SteeleThoughts we cannot overlook those who are with our students all day. Great reminder that we have a great responsibilty to all. #relentless#nmbmchiefs
I know weโre supposed to make our decisions based on the needs of the students... but we can never discount the needs of the adults in the school. Theyโre the ones taking care of the kids. And they want whatโs best for students as well.
Congratulations goes out to @WBTWBlitz Grand Strand player of the week for week 2, @NMBAthletics running back Nyliek Livingston, nearly 200 rushing yards and 2 scores in their 35-7 win over South Florence last Friday! Much more at 6 on @WBTWNews13@mreel25@NyliekL
Question for the day... is it about covering all content? Or, is it about teaching students to think deeply and critically through your content? #lessismore#nmbmchiefs#strategicplanning
6th Grade ELA students are fully engaged. They are applying what they have learned about authorโs craft, point of view, perspective, mood and tone to help determine who kidnapped Donovan. Great teachers equals great outcomes. @RaedeneAveritt@toscani_taya@knab_kara @CoachA_Long
This 1st week, or next weeks, of school is/are NOT about academics. The children need to get re-acclimated socially and emotionally to a school that is much different than last September. New rules enforced by masks & plexiglass barriers are NOT normal for kids or adults.
We get one opportunity to make a first impression at the beginning of the school year.
Will that impression be?
One of compliance and control?
Or will it be one of growth, reflection, culture building, and success?

If youโre struggling today donโt worry.
The education world is seeing a lot of tears, frustration, and extremely overwhelmed teachers right now.
Trust me youโre not alone and those feelings only show how much YOU CARE.
It is important that I remember this as I always say things will not be perfect! I am thankful for a staff that understands this as we navigate through these unchartered waters. #nmbmchiefs#growthmindset
@msballatore @msballatore I appreciate your kind words. I know you have a very bright future in education. I look forward to continue seeing the great things you are doing for your students.
