Günaydın canımlar 🩵☕️ As always I wanted to add a bit of different perspective to the conversation about “Go Türkiye” mini series and share my thoughts. It turned out to be a very long text, I don’t know if anyone will read it to the end, but if you’ll do I will be very glad. 🙏🏻

I understand the general disappointment of not seeing İlDam casted together for this advertisement project because it could be our Halef-fandom moment finally, as the Klass Awards, and natural questions arise in people's minds about why our couple was not chosen when they are so popular.
It's a strange choice at first glance, I agree. But if you think about it, we don't know under which circumstances this contract was signed in the way it was — it’s still very possible that Damla simply wasn’t available because of other contracts and projects or even a preparation for her movie, if she accepted the role, of course (btw it will be filmed in Karadeniz too, so our restaurant activities are still possible if their schedules coincide with filming days 😏).

Of course, it would be logical to use İlDam for “Go Türkiye” since they are literally the ambassadors of Şanliurfa, they really love this place and know it better than local tour guides at this point, it became part of them, their identities and their personalities, and they are also favorites of the people, some even call them the royal couple of Urfa 🤓 because the locals simply adore them.
But look, it wasn't our couple or our city that was chosen, so it seems to me that it's no coincidence.

Also, pay attention to the couple from UŞ — It would have made more sense if they had filmed their commercial in Mardin, where their series takes place, but they were sent to Cappadocia, also a strange choice which makes you wonder if the producers of UŞ prohibited to use their characters in their known environment?

“Go Türkiye” campaign is a mini series for each region — Ozan Akbaba and Sinem Ünsal filmed in Cappadocia, Murat Yıldırım and Fahriye Evcen filmed in Bodrum, Burak Özçivit and Ceyda Ateş film their part in Izmir, and we will film ours in the Black Sea 🌊🖤

I was talking to a friend this morning who is following actors’s filming set schedules and she was also following Ozan and Sinem's filming. She told me that their shooting for “Go Turkey” only lasted 4 days for them, because the episodes are quite short and made for commercial purposes, so our filming won't last longer either: “a week at most” (as we think, ofc don’t take my timeframe as something confirmed, these are our assumptions, taking into account the filming of other parts).
This isn't the series everyone thinks it is; it's pure commercials.
