Thought for the day: One should read an English person using 'British' in about the same way one reads 'Judeo-Christian' when used by an evangelical Christian. There is an implication of 'we', of solidarity, that does not in fact exist.

Accepting that my personal livelihood is tied to the trains y'know, *running*...I still agree with this whole thing and wish the strike all success. It's *not* the workers' fault. It's these rich assholes who need a smacking. (Also the song is weirdly catchy.)

I had not previously realized that watching Legend's director's cut when you're expecting to watch the theatrical cut could straight up ruin your night, but here we are, unpleasantly educated.
