The Belleair Police Department sends condolences on the passing of Pinellas/Pasco State Attorney Bernie McCabe. Mr. McCabe was a supporter of Justice for thirty years. He was instrumental in the prosecution of BPD Ofc. Jeff Tackett’s killer. Thank you, Sir.
My 1st job in FL was a Victim/Witness counselor w the State Attorneys Office under Mr. McCabe. A leader in many ways, most significant to me was his active participation in prosecutions involving murders of Police Officers. Thank you for your service & rest in peace.
I’m not making any plans or doing anything productive until Wednesday. This feels like the week b/t Christmas and New Years when the entire world is on hold.
I admit my bias upfront, but it was wonderful working with such a leader of integrity who was always focused on equity & outcomes. #LeadOn Major Chaney snd happy trails.
Major Randall Chaney retires today after 33 years of service to @LargoPD. He worked as an FTO, K9 handler, SWAT operator and Team Leader, Robbery/Homicide Detective, Sergeant, Midnight Shift LT, Professional Standards LT, PIO, SWAT and SIRT Commander. Major Chaney will be missed.
Justice was served today in a collaborative, professional fashion. May baby Jordan’s memory be eternal and may Jordan’s Law help make children in Florida’s child welfare system safer.
Today Charisse Stinson was sentenced to 50 years in prison for the Murder of her 2-year-old son Jordan Belliveau Jr. in 2018. Chief Jeff Undestad thanks his staff and also @ChrisLatvala whose efforts made Jordan’s Law a safety net in Florida’s child welfare system.
When brave survivors turn into system disruptors in all good ways AND get the acknowledgement they deserve...it’s a great day. Thank you @amy_ballon for being a fierce truth teller & showing us the way! #DomesticViolenceAwarenessMonth
