New kits will come out
We’ll be linked with players
Some good ones on paper will be signed.
People will then start to think “hmm, maybe we’ve got a chance here”
Season will start
We’ll drop points in first few games
Rohl under pressure yet board want to continue with him
We have trips to Piggery and Tynecastle in first round of fixtures
We’ll be 8-10 points behind the league leaders come October
Danny Rohl eventually sacked as pressure is intense and league season all but over.
I dare you to tell me I’m wrong.
@humble_speck@cjb1990_ I'd take SG, or even McCann. There's folks out there thinking Muscat is the second coming. I think we need a season of stability for now. I know I'm in the minority.
@BMCRangersRants@RangersFC I've no idea why folks are supporting Tav across this. He's still our captain and putting up selfish statements. No wonder Moore talked about player standards.
@cjb1990_ Nice in depth reply. Rohl's fallen short, but is this all on him? SG got three seasons. Rohl took over in a poorer position. ....if I'm being honest the Rangers I remember didn't have three managers in a season. We need to stop this cycle, it toxic.
@cjb1990_ That's total shite. When RM left we never thought anything was on. He got us believing. He fell short, that's fair. Did you think we would have had a chance with that team back when RM left and SG/Muscat turned us down? Short memories out there.
@Chris_Jack89 Yes. Totally agree. Will captain a club one day. Shame it won't be ours. Instead we're captained by a guy (as much as I've liked him) who's only been thinking about himself lately.
@johnwalker_1986@ibroxrocks I think it shows Tav was not in command of himself. As captain he should set standards of behaviour. I like Tav, but he's not covering himself in glory here.
@ibroxrocks Don't you think Tav's statement/behaviour is quite me, me for a current captain? Being on the bench is justified. Disappointed yes, but angry and willing to say what he said while captain? This is Tav weakness. Moore's brilliant interview reinforced player standards under Tav.
Mind when we had Dessers up front. Working his socks off, constantly looking a menace for defenders, scoring goals, but also missing chances as any forward does.
He was battered by Rangers fans. Harsh is an understatement IMO.
£13 million later and we are miles worse off.
As we look back at 2024, this is my fondest memory (sound up):
We took the boys to the Euros in Germany with the Tartan Army. En route, we camped in the Swiss mountains & this random event happened when out for an evening walk. Shivers...
There's still beauty in this world.
Happy New Year when it comes.💙🕊
I have loved this more positive football after Germany. I wonder if it's SC or the senior players asking for it? There's the fear he'll eventually revert to type. Can't deny his tactics and attitude in and after Germany were a poor reflection for the team. But.. want to believe
I'd say qualifying for our first major tournament in over 30 years was a tangible sign of progress, as was repeating the feat again.
I'd say promotion from the Nations League C to B and then to A, and possibly still staying there is a tangible sign of progress.
I'd say beating the likes of Croatia, Denmark and Spain along the way were tangible signs of progress.
So yeah, most Scotland fans do see progress. Really.
