I think Sonic Frontiers will remain a unique experience even when the next mainline Sonic game comes out and is better in most aspects. I say this because they’re 100% going to toss aside the overly melodramatic tone and collect-a-thon loop because everyone besides me hates it

@ZachInsomnia one. with an open world however the only points in the game are point a (start of story) point b (when the story ends) and the path on that is only linear when trying to only get the story done, the path is far different depending on how you go about the game

@ZachInsomnia did they do a good job at applying sonic design philosophies well into an open world? because every other sonic game is so linear so its easy to judge the journey when we are all told to get from point a to point b with point a being the start of a level point b being the (cont.)
