@mimrebel I totally agree with you. Very little makes me feel as good as when one of my spouse’s coworkers mentions that he was showing off something I made, talking about how much he loves something I did, or how proud he is of me.
If I knew he only complained about me I would be gutted.

@BelieveMeAshlee Mazaj in the Foundry does chicken shawarma plates, wraps, and loaded fries. I haven’t tried it myself but Griffin had the fries last month and said they were incredible, really generous portions as well. (They’re also Palestinian owned.)

@liketospend Nope. Could have been a mental health day, a migraine that went away after sleep and/or meds, maybe a kid that was sick that they had to care for, or a million other things.
Work isn’t everything and what my coworkers need personal time for is not my business.

@AussieSteve6 Pre(and during)-Covid I have had strep/tonsillitis type infections that have had similar symptoms (fever, cough, extremely sore throat). Usually with swollen/tender lymph nodes in the neck and moderate to severe fatigue.
Hopefully not Covid, but I still take precautions anyway.
