Leicester City, managed by Italian Claudio Ranieri, were crowned champions for the first time in their 132-year history
5000-1
Bookmakers thought it was more likely that Elvis, who died in 1977, was found alive and well in 2016 than Leicester City winning the Premier League.
We’ll never see anything like it ever again
Ten years ago today.
The battle of Stamford Bridge.
Hazard’s goal (I got to call it)
Vardy’s house party.
5,000-1 shots Leicester City are Premier Lge Champions.
Ecstasy. Relief. Bewilderment.
Then 200,000 at the parade.
Kasabian at the KP.

Such sad news. Ashley Luthern captures Dan's combination of tenacity and kindness perfectly.
Daniel Bice, veteran Wisconsin political reporter and columnist, dies at 62 https://t.co/ypkR6yCigY via @journalsentinel
There will never be another Dan Bice.
The phrase "without fear or favor" gets thrown around a lot, but that was Dan's M.O. News was news, and Dan was driven to report it like no other.
I'm grateful to have worked with him. In addition to being a singular journalist, he was a kind, supportive coworker. And he was fun. We'll miss him so much.

Dan Bice was one of a kind. He was fearless, determined and cared more about telling the truth to readers than anyone I've ever worked with. He often broke national news and dug into local stories with the same tenacity. Above all, he was a kind colleague and friend who was never too busy to help. He will be sorely missed.
The player who scored the winning penalty for Bosnia, to eliminate Italy from World Cup contention, was 21-year-old Wisconsin-born Esmir Bajraktarevic, former U.S. youth international who also made his USMNT debut in 2024, before switching his international allegiance to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Bajraktarevic was born to parents who fled the Bosnian war as refugees. He spent time with the SC Wave and Chicago Fire academies before moving to the New England Revolution academy — making his first team debut in 2022. He made the move to PSV in January 2025.
