Nīstim (my Niece) Jaina had a speaking role in a Indigenous-made film called “Bones of Crows.” It was even the opening film for @viffest. I am so proud of her. She was tired from her long day as an actor at an opening film at a major film fest, but we were able to take this pic.

R.I.P. Value Village on East Hastings in #Vancouver.

Interestingly, there was a fire a few buildings over just over one year ago.

Aug 19, 2016 was the last day my family would see my Cousin Christine Wood. She came down to Winnipeg for a medical visit from our reserve #BunibonibeeCreeNation. Her remains were found in a shallow grave in a farmer’s field. This #RedDressDay I will remember my Cousin Christine.

Christine’s murderer was found, tried & convicted of 2nd degree murder.

For many others, who lost their Sister, Mother, Auntie, Grand and/or Friend too, they don’t know what happened.

On this #RedDressDay I will remember all the other stolen Sisters who have sky been found yet.
