After last night’s debate where Darren Bailey told us he wants to repeal the Safe T Act, repeal CEJA, and repeal the new Fix the Foid law, let me remind everyone of something I said last week. Listen up!!!
🎈Happy birthday to our Dean of the Caucus, Rep. Mary Flowers! You've worked to tackle the root cause of violence, passed landmark legislation for biomarker testing, and have been a true advocate for equity and diversity. Thank you!
"...Steele fired her last Monday after Williams "informed Samantha that it would be unwise to hold a press conference promoting herself and other exclusively white candidates on Juneteenth."" Sound advice and another reason @mike_cabonargi is the only choice in this race.
@Timmy89234562@josephdesparro1@GregHinz@fritz4assessor @prespreckwinkle @AssessorCook This is exactly the problem. @AssessorCook FRITZ KAEGI was warned against running an inadequately tested and vetted system and he decided to implement it anyway with no fail safe. The erroneous assessments and the resulting late tax bills are solely Fritz Kaegi’s!
@fritz4assessor Finding and fixing your repeated errors is exhausting and costly for taxing districts. You know that your failure to do your job correctly is why the assessments are wrong and the tax bills will be late. Own it and focus on getting the job done RIGHT!
@fritz4assessor Yes! Finally! Focus on the assessing property ACCURATELY! Not false press releases, legislation that goes no where, and pointing fingers at others. You are the ONLY person responsible for assessing property. Go assess and please, GET IT RIGHT for a change!
.@LarryRogersJr out with a blistering new statement on @AssessorCook's delayed assessments:
"It’s time for the Assessor to own his mistakes and spend less time pointing fingers and more time figuring out how to get the bills out on time, if in fact that was ever his priority.”
@GregHinz@fritz4assessor @prespreckwinkle Timely tax bills are driven by the completion of the reassessment by the @AssessorCook. Of Chicago’s 8 townships that should have been reassessed by November 2021, FRITZ KAEGI has completed 1, leaving 7 townships or about 80% of his City reassessment incomplete = late tax bills!
@GregHinz@fritz4assessor @prespreckwinkle We cannot hear appeals on assessments that have not been rendered. @AssessorCook Kaegi has not done his job! The city has not been reassessed. Blaming Covid or anyone else is a smokescreen. FRITZ has failed! Own it Fritz! Wear the jacket as you you told all of “US” you would!

@AssessorCook Kaegi is the worst Assessor Cook County has seen. He has failed miserably! He is running home owners out of their homes and forcing businesses to shutter under crushing and inaccurate assessments! Kaegi is worse than Covid and will cause tax bills to be very late!
