I genuinely think a lot of millennials are reaching the same conclusion at the same time.
We grew up watching technology make life better every year. Cell phones. iPods. Smartphones. An app for everything. It felt like the future was arriving right in front of us, and we couldn’t wait for what came next.
Then somewhere along the way, it changed.
Everything became a subscription. Social media became algorithms. Every day feels like another once-in-a-lifetime event. The things that were supposed to save us time somehow ended up demanding more of our attention than ever.
We were sold convenience.
What we got was a world that feels faster, louder, more expensive, and somehow less human.
And that’s why so many people I know dream about a completely different life now. Not more technology. Not more optimization.
Just a quiet job, a flip phone, a small town, and a place where life feels real again.
100.000€ -25% RSZ werkgever - 13,07% RSZ bijdrage werknemer - 36,7% gemiddelde aanslagvoet = 41.270€
Rijtaks + OV eigen woning = 1270€
For those of you that are enduring their first major Bitcoin dip, it might be confusing as to why the FUD (Fear Uncertainty and Doubt) seems to be coming from so many different random venues. This is not a mistake.
The reason many bitcoiners (myself included) have such a strong aversion to crypto is because it is a distraction from Bitcoin itself and it usually ends with newer players allocating capital to the wrong place.
That distraction gets amplified in co-ordinated FUD attacks that are often led by the crypto VCs, and the crypto leaders. Last round XRP were paying @Greenpeace to lie about bitcoin’s environmental impact.
This round we have seen Z-Cash get tabled as Bitcoin with privacy by a whole host of crypto bros and VCs and it was later proven that people were being paid to circulate this nonsense (privacy can be effectively handled using coinjoin on bitcoin).
Next came the quantum FUD, we don’t know who is behind this (yet) but it is definitely another coordinated effort with a number of VCs who definitely know better behind the narrative - today Julius Baer (second largest swiss private bank) wrote a report stating that because of quantum risk potentially releasing Satoshi’s coins and lost early coins Bitcoin could no longer be considered a store of value asset - this is like saying that because China may find a large gold deposit in 20years time, gold can no longer be considered a store of value asset - but these are the idiotic things that get said when the FUD does its work.
As for “pedo coin”, (Jeffrey Epstein having apparently backed some early bitcoin devs and therefore there is some backdoor for evil people built into Bitcoin), I had assumed that this would be openly ridiculed but somehow some people actually think that this is an issue as mentioned by Gary Cardone on the town hall yesterday - who thinks some newer OGs will sell on the back of this. (It’s open source for God’s sake!! 🤯)
If this is your first cycle, a lot of this can seem very real and frightening, but it is just the same old bullshit dressed in different clothes. People paid to put bitcoin down to promote some shitcoin that fixes privacy, or quantum, or just to get you to sell (to them)….
The truth is, it is all designed to scare you, to shake your conviction, to make you sell. The FUD is indeed coordinated.
Rather than panic or get concerned, just do your own research, there is plenty out there on coinjoins, and quantum processing levels needed to crack wallet encryption and likely timelines and solutions being proposed / worked on. All these attacks just help your conviction when you take the time to learn.
Bitcoin is the only hope to escape from much of the evil that the fiat system creates…
Nothing is ever certain and while the current FUD is all bullshit, I am not saying that we have already won and Bitcoin becomes the new monetary system…. but for the sake of humanity, I hope it does. 🙏🏼
@ZeeContrarian1@craigzjohnson It’s a long term store of value, because bitcoin is the invention of absolute scarcity.

Everyone is using AI to think less.
But the highest-leverage AI prompts do the exact opposite. They make you think more.
The most common AI prompts make us comfortable:
• “Summarize this article.”
• “Write this email for me.”
• “Tell my girlfriend it’s over.”
But, the best prompts force you into discomfort.
Here's what I mean.
This prompt went viral last year:
"Based on everything you know about me, what are my biggest blindspots?"
Decent.
But watch what happens when you engineer psychological pressure into the structure:
ROLE You are an expert psychologist with a keen eye for spotting human patterns.
OBJECTIVE Based on everything you know about me, what are my biggest blindspots? How are they holding me back? What potential am I wasting? What should I be paying attention to but I'm not?
INSTRUCTIONS
• Reason from first principles
• Do not make large leaps—stick to what's most likely
• Go deep, don't hold back
• Be brutally honest
OUTPUT:
1. Summary: 3–5 sentences describing my patterns
2. Top 3 Blindspots with:
• Current belief
• Why it's flawed
• Harm pattern (how it shows up)
• Upgraded belief (clear, testable)
• One micro-experiment to validate the new belief
3. Next 14 Days: One behavioral test I can apply
TONE: Curious, incisive, non-judgmental. Challenge assumptions without shaming.
Here’s what just happened:
→ “Be brutally honest” strips politeness filters.
→ “First principles” blocks generic BS.
→ “Upgraded belief + micro-test” forces action.
→ “Next 14 days” removes the “someday” excuse.
People won’t shut up about optimizing prompts for clarity, when really they should be optimizing for inescapability.
We've democratized access to world-class coaching—
And most people are using it to write breakup emails.
If your AI conversations don't occasionally make you uncomfortable…
You're just having a very expensive echo chamber conversation.
@spekulativeatak@jvisserlabs Sure it makes sense to sell: think of the businesses you could start/acquire with $9B.
Let’s assume bitcoin’s CAGR for the next 10 years will be 30%. A great business can do better and you get to actually contribute to society.
@VitaminT800@Stijn_Baert Mijn bedrijf betaalt elke maand btw.
