Sweet Finch has finished his meds and his nose wound is no longer causing him any trouble. And at last, the healed new skin on his head is growing back spines and fur. He's raring to go back to the wild, so a couple more days to let the regrowth gain hold and he can be free.
@ConorKeane This was a 14.4 km (8.9 mi) monorail built on the Lartigue principle. It linked Ballybunion with the Nth Kerry line at Listowel. It had one intermediate station and a passing loop at Lisselton. It officially opened on 29 Feb 1888, public services beginning on 5 March.
Nets down for Nature ! Please be responsible with any type of netting you use, our wild creature have little chance of survival if they get tangled. Football nets, garden plant netting, fishing nets, building site mesh etc ..even worse, netting placed over trees and hedgerows !
It took an hour (and a scalpel and steady hand) to free lovely Lola from the net that was garotting her (see previous tweet). It's so tragic because she's otherwise in lovely condition; 980g, virtually no parasites, so obviously being fed by someone who is no doubt missing her.
