This was a difficult NFL season for me.
The Wk16 mark in contests had me slotted W/5 prizes +418k, collapsed to $0.
No health concerns, but recovery rough & no free time.
Betting started -25%, B4 pivoting strategy & ultimately a nice profit.
1st vacation since 2019 next month, while I evaluate life priorities.
I loved the work with Ron,Ted, Jared & Steve + great viewer & follower exchanges, but My NFL workload is a drain to quality of life.
I appreciate everyone so much!

Totals -18.94 (43%) -24% ROI
Spread -5.63 (52%) -3.1%
Props -1.24 (50%) -17%
Future +3.6 1-0
Teasers +17.04 (51%) +7.8%
ML +17.17 (74%) +31%
Parlays +56.3 (60%) 45% ROI

Parlays (63-42) & Teasers made the year with my pivot from allowing late variance ruin my bets. I focused on creating +$ pays on both. It was an unpleasant time consuming grind. I use alt lines, ML. Or spread in the parlays for better numbers & grinding profit. I used +$ teasers to reach farther directionally, reduce exposure, & improve ROI. I used these based on my model, ignored avail Wongs I had no edge, & regularly used non traditional combinations.

My solid totals returns lowered 10y profit to +35.45.
I still need to autopsy the model results, but they were directionally very good, but not great vs full spread.

The end of the season couldn't come soon enough due to the time consumption required to facilitate the volume of bets I created weekly. I'm not going back to traditional betting focus, I'm sticking with my current pivot if I continue to bet the NFL.

If you have a primary residence in NV, check you tax bill through the county to make sure you're at 3% cap.
NV can charge 8% to non primary owners and it's up to you to make sure you're categorized properly. NV sticking it to many people without them knowing.

Much appreciated. Love the house, but still working on it. Ron & I would love nothing more than to be back on pod, maybe next year. Recovery the focus for both of us.

@FAmmiranteTFJ Generally, no spread pools don't fare better than mid to high 60's.
Follow the masses and flame out with them. If you're a good capper, you go with your numbers. Sometimes, you play a dog because the math tells you to. Have no choice if you understand contests

I don't give a hoot what the price is today or in Nov, It's pretty clear where it will be in 27, I welcome opportunity to keep chipping up. Evaluate the probabilities, is it more likely to be 80 or 30 at any point forward.

@robmiech Yeah, most people don't realize that the last 6 months is basically useless. So e countries are very firm on this, you're lucky you finagled out of there. I've had to do the same thing, also with not having a return to let to show, that can also strand you unexpectedly

It took only 8 days to receive my Passport using the online renewal portal that took only 10 mins to finish.

Shockingly easy and timely.

Remember, don't travel internationally within 6 months of expiration.

Great insight on VP tipping.
If playing high limit, the payouts become a chore & inconvenience. Setting up a sheet is advisable to do it all at once. Should tipping scale for the exact same service & product as a 5c player? The frequency increases, so the staff benefits at a normal tip amount.

I've had 22 signers in a night, imagine being foolish enough to tip out 10p EA time. The staff helping you sees peanuts of any increased tip amount because it's pooled.

Cheapskate or not? The Vital Vegas post below gets on the player for not tipping on a 100K VP win. Couple problems. Many players and virtually all casino employees think tips should scale to the payout or win. Standard rate is claimed to be 10%. That's casino employee propaganda.
