@adudefromutah @ObamaNoMessiah@theinkbubble@krassenstein The God you worship in Christs name 1000% did. A lot. Worship Christ all you want. That also means the OT God, his dad, who is also him. But keep moving the goal posts. Thats how cognative dissonance works.
@adudefromutah @ObamaNoMessiah@theinkbubble@krassenstein Do the semantics and rationalizations who you worship bring back people killed in the name of the God of the Bible?
@adudefromutah @ObamaNoMessiah@theinkbubble@krassenstein Lol. Its funny how you worship a God who commits and commands genocide and baby murder but its ok because Jesus was a pretty cool dude. One hell of a level of rationalization.
By the way Jesus told slaves to obey their masters. Yes, slavery is violence.
Oh, & it doesnt matter
@adudefromutah @ObamaNoMessiah@theinkbubble@krassenstein What you believe doest matter. Why do you think it does? Why does your opinion of what Jesus would or would have not condoned change who killed in his name?
@adudefromutah @ObamaNoMessiah@theinkbubble@krassenstein And I said, according to some people who commit violence in his name, he does.
With Jesus being God and all, and God explicitly condoning, requesting, and directly committing a TON of death and violence, does it really even matter?
@adudefromutah @ObamaNoMessiah@theinkbubble@krassenstein All Ive said is it doesnt matter if you think there is a verse of Jesus condoing violence or not. Your opinion changes nothing if the people doing the violence say he does.
Your satisfaction of subjectively "being right" doesnt bring people back from the dead.
@adudefromutah @ObamaNoMessiah@theinkbubble@krassenstein Who said Jesus is liable? I said people claimed he condoned their actions. You claim he doesnt. What makes those claims different? And does that difference bring back those killed people? And what about the kids and babies God killed directly in the Bible?
@adudefromutah @ObamaNoMessiah@theinkbubble@krassenstein Why is your opinion on Jesus more important or correct than the opinion of those who killed in his name? They claim as much relgious justification as you from the same source with the same support.
@adudefromutah @ObamaNoMessiah@theinkbubble@krassenstein Whether theyd condone it or not, it would still be done in their name.
In the bible God killed A LOT of kids and babies. In real life people have used the bible and messages from God to kill even more.
Whether YOU think Jesus condones it is irrelevant when others think he does
@sequitur_broken@theserfstv Or you were objectively wrong. But youd have to admit objective truths for that to be realized. And that seems to be the majority of the issue here.
But feel free to reject the science if it conflicts with your ideology.
