Nextgen Portable Solar System! 30-60 miles per day Tesla Model Y - Anker Solix fs3800

In this video, I test a couple of the latest portable solar systems. We go on an off-grid camping adventure trip with our Tesla Model Y and the Anker Solix fs3800 portable solar system. It was a grand adventure, and the solar system worked perfectly.

Well in our case we have forgotten that there is an outside world with news in it. We have gone old shcool with vinyl Christmas records playing in the background, and children that are totally enthralled with a new Lite-Brite and slot cars. I feel like it is the 80s again and I love that my children are absolutely digging it. We even have tinsel on the Christmas tree!🤣

@wmorrill3 If only we could capture it with a higher efficiency. Even with the current technology my folding portable solar panels work great charging my Model Y. In the future it’s only going to get better.

@abirla2020 It's just for adjusting the current draw/brightness. You can use any resistor. Sometimes with certain coil winding ratios it is not even needed.

@Mattlinn01 Thanks, it works great. I can get 30-60 miles range a day from it. Everything folds up and travels inside the car, while also leaving plenty of room for extra camping gear. I am super happy with it.
