Pocketpair has revealed that Palworld's 1.0 update will be the biggest update the game has received so far.

The team has already prepared 27 pages of patch notes covering the many changes coming to the game. Pocketpair's publishing and communications lead John “Bucky” Buckley joked that he was “losing my mind” while trying to organize all the updates and improvements.

The 1.0 update will add a new area to explore, more new Pals than any previous update, new story content, and major changes to gameplay systems. It will also include balance changes, quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and other updates to make the game smoother and more enjoyable.

Because so many systems are being changed, Pocketpair recommends starting a new world to experience the update properly. However, existing save files are expected to continue working.
