To receive €8,000 net per month:
> €16,904 gross salary
> €19,795 total employer cost
> €8,000 in your bank account

€11,795 goes to taxes and contributions before you even spend anything.

€8k net sounds almost unimaginable to many people in Slovenia. But for scarce technical talent competing with Western Europe and the US, it is not some crazy number tbh.

Then you spend it, and most things include 22% VAT (DDV)...
