@Zizaran There is one BIIIG glaring issue I would like answer to. Why do endgame maps still reset when you die to a boss? It had its place in early iterations. But now with varying objectives and mechanics on maps it wipes all content and content progress for the map which feels real bad.

@Battinson23 @pathofexile2new D4 sold an “early access” quality game at a retail price on release. And GGG sold early access to an eventual F2P game for early access price. D4 is no longer “D4 bad” it just costs an extra $40 to make it good even if you already owned it. Casuals don’t buy EA esp if 1.0 is F2P.

@Arvou_ @pathofexile Probably just due to the game being “out”. Don’t know if there’s a mechanism for preloading a patch release, maybe a beta branch? I know there’s one for releasing a new product for sure. I don’t even know how big the patches are em steam nowadays (standalone player)

@GhazzyTV I would understand making the build file paywalled if they otherwise release the traditional build video/pob publicly. It simply just the highest level of holding your hand through the build, and it topples with a single leak of the file, so I’m not too concerned.

@Inosaska @pathofexile If you swap to dx12 you won’t have the load screen times. But of course I agree that I should be able to use the renderer I’ve been using for both games for years without a driver rollback.
