@KenneyNL I had to open an old project recently, and the only way I could do it was to manually open Unity with the specified version, fill out some old license stuff in a pop-up, and select the project in the old hub. Dunno if it’s related to your issues though 😊

Quick life update: I stopped working at @tribandtweets after three incredible years in order to go beck to studying. I’ll stay in Copenhagen though, and I’ll work as a freelancer next to uni.

@chrisoshea@timgarbos I also use drives a lot, mostly for rotations but also positional drives. And make sure there’s not things with masses of 0.0001 for example. And complex collider structures can cause issues, so if I can avoid self collisions I try to. Using PIDs to control torque is also nifty
@chrisoshea@timgarbos Yea I mostly work with configurable joints. There’s a lot of things to consider, differences in mass, needlessly high velocities, trying to control limb rigid bodies forces directly through scripts. I always turn off “enablePreprocessing” and use “connectedMassScale” a lot. (1/n)
