I will never stop sharing this
PLEASE LOOK AT ME
said every Jewish woman since October 7, we are the voices of our sisters.
@UNSRVAW I wish you the hell you deserve
Microsoft had the money.
Motorola had the patents.
Neither owned the only thing that mattered.
Gates went first. Teamed up with Craig McCaw. Built Teledesic.
Andreessen: “Complete catastrophe, total bankruptcy, complete disaster.”
Motorola went next. The company that invented the cell phone. Built Iridium.
Andreessen: “Classic business school case study of just complete disaster, capital destruction.”
Same vision. Unlimited capital. The best engineers alive.
Zero. Twice.
Then Musk picked up the same idea like it cost him nothing.
Andreessen: “Elon’s like, ‘I know, I’m going to do number three of those.’ Starlink. As a side project at the rocket ship company.”
Gates rented a rocket. Motorola rented a rocket. Every launch was a bill from someone else, on someone else’s schedule, at someone else’s price.
Musk owned his.
Andreessen: “If the rockets are reusable, we’re going to be launching them all the time. And then the question becomes, what’s going to go in the rockets?”
Nobody could throttle him. Nobody could price him out. Nobody could make him wait for permission.
Starlink was never really the business.
It was cargo. Invented so an owned machine never ran empty.
Andreessen: “It’s a formula that captures both sides of it, and it may be like the least studied and understood thing I know of in the world right now.”
Gates and Motorola were right about the future and still lost, because the future ran through somebody else’s gate.
Musk just made sure he’d never need anyone’s gate again.
That’s not a satellite story.
That’s the blueprint behind everything he’s built since.
Kære Berlingske (Og I andre MSM)
Tak for nyheden – men næste gang: fortæl hele historien.
Skeptikerne havde ret hele tiden. Ikke takket være, men på trods af den grønne omstilling.
Med venlig hilsen En læser, der husker de sidste 15 års dækning.
@Betar_USA How can there be a genocide when the population is actually rising(look it up), and oh Hamas and palestinians are literally saying all jews must die. Make it make sense.
L: Reem Alsalem justifies her refusal to report on Ilana Gritzewsky and other Israeli women assaulted by Hamas, saying, “We cannot rely on media statements only.”
R: Reem Alsalem condemns Israel relying on the Hamas flotilla's media statement only. “As per their press release.”
A young SpaceX employee asked Elon what happens if they fail to reach Mars in his lifetime. The room was full of engineers and the question landed heavier than anyone expected.
It was a simple question but it cut to the core of everything SpaceX exists for. The entire company, every late night, every exploded prototype, every engineer who missed their kid's birthday for a launch window, it all points at Mars. What if it doesn't happen in time?
Elon paused.
He said that the goal was never for him personally to walk on Mars. The goal was to build the infrastructure that makes it inevitable. That even if he dies before the first crew lands, the system he built would carry the mission forward without him.
He said the rockets, the factories, the team, the culture, all of it is designed to outlast any single person. Including him. Especially him.
Then he said something that reportedly moved people in the room.
He said that if he thought success depended on him being alive, he would have already failed. The whole point is building something that doesn't need its founder to keep going.
He compared it to a cathedral. The architects of medieval cathedrals knew they would die before the building was finished. They designed it anyway. They poured their life into something they would never see completed because the completion wasn't the point. The commitment was.
SpaceX is his cathedral. He may never set foot on Mars. But the road between here and there will exist because he refused to accept that nobody was building it.
The most ambitious man alive has already made peace with the possibility that his greatest achievement might happen after he's gone. That's not failure. That's faith in something bigger than yourself.
White people are terrified of being seen as racist.
If white guilt permeates the online world and our schools, then our adults will feel guilty too.
This helps neither whites nor ethnics.
My ARC speech:
Look at Ilana. Look at the expression on her face. You can see her body shaking.
And this is all @UNSRVAW had to say.
No apology. No acknowledgment. No nothing.
🚨 JUST IN — REP. BYRON DONALDS DROPS THE MIC:
"President Obama opened up his Presidential Library in Chicago."
"You needed an ID to attend the event!"
"So if you're going to show up for President Obama's library, you got to present a photo ID to gain access to that event, but to vote in our elections, you don't have to do that? That makes no sense!"
"It's crazy and it's STUPID. And so the United States Senate has a responsibility to open up that floor. You Senate procedure actually have a debate."
"You have a filibuster debate. If Bernie Sanders wants to hold the floor of the U.S. Senate for six months, let him. Go ahead!"
This is the UN.
Look at the face of the UN special rapporteur who is meant to stand up for women but has refused, again and again, to speak up for Israeli women.
Look at her face when a former hostage challenges her.
For the last 46 years, it has been my privilege to work alongside countless talented artists and crews to create these characters, stories, and films for you all.
I'm looking forward to seeing you at the movies! DIGGER. Only in theaters this October.
