@Shametfor3 You really wanted the Dodgers to sign a 13 year deal with a SS that has had back problems throughout his career? Im glad the Giants just signed him because after Correa is 34 there is no way that deal will look good.
@TalkinJake Dodgers fan here. Im very happy the Giants got Correa. This 13 year deal for a player with recurring back injuries who hasn't hit over 26 homeruns in a year is going to look really bad when he is 34.
@thisisntmymain5@99DreamWeaver99@TalkinJake He also has recurring back injuries and is signed till he is 41. There might be 7 or 8 bad years of this deal seeing how only 1 hitter in the MLB last year was 34 or older and finished in the top 40 on OPS.
@TalkinBaseball_ I see a bunch of high 600s/low 700s OPS hitters and platoon players. Correa, Davis are the only hitters with above a .750 OPS last year that aren't platoon players.
@JeffPassan Im glad the Dodgers aren't spending this year. Ohtani is the real prize next year and the Mets, Yankees, Giants, Rangers and Padres seems to be spending a lot this year.
@htownrocketsgal@username25350@JeffPassan He has missed over 25 games 4 of his last 6 years and played through a back injury during the COVID year which led to a .700 OPS. He has been hurt 5 of the last 6 years and people are really saying he isn't injury prone?
