What if American voters had the enthusiasm of “American Idol” viewers? Maybe they would, if we brought politics to life, and if citizens knew that their votes actually mattered! Imagine a TV show where potential presidential candidates are discovered, vetted, analyzed, and rejected or accepted—by the public. No smear campaigns or spin doctors and most importantly, no special interests. Instead, you have the re-empowerment of the American people. We place democracy back in the hands of the republic, and bring politics blazing into the future… We bring you The American Party. By taping auditions across the country, we’ll build a collection of capable and compelling candidates. There is incredible talent in the United States—people of intelligence, vision, and humility—but these people can’t, or won’t run for office due to the price tag and overpowering political forces. Our show levels the playing field by making it easier for Americans to discover and choose their candidates and for citizens to become candidates and leaders. With the help of our host, judges, special guests, and our interactive website, viewers will vote to eliminate or support candidates as the pressure builds. Our audience will write the winner onto the national presidential ballot as their choice for the next President of the United States. We envision this moment as a definitive turning point in American politics—the moment that democracy becomes “of the people, by the people, and for the people,” again! As further incentive for both candidates and producers, we propose unveiling late in the season that one of our candidates will be invited to host a spin-off political television show to be designed by the network and the audience. Will this candidate have star power? Our audience will have said yes. The elements of The American Party are already in place: Reality-based programming thrives; in April, “American Idol” took nearly a full third of the market share of all television websites; Americans from six-year-olds to senators write daily blogs; and informal elections are already up and running online. It just remains for us to put the pieces together. There is nothing like this on television today. We believe that this show is an inevitable evolution of democracy. Politics, to remain relevant, must be integrated with contemporary culture—today, it clearly isn’t. The opportunity to make history lies before us; we hope you’ll read on and help us to seize it!

Socialists keep saying "the rich don't pay their fair share in taxes." Charles Payne just ran the actual numbers and ENDED their narrative in under 2 minutes.

The top 1% pay roughly 40% of federal income taxes while earning about 22% of the income.

The top 10% (the entrepreneurs and small business owners putting in 60-hour weeks) pay over 70% of the total taxes.

If we were to tax people based on how much they use services, the top earners would be paying close to ZERO.

FUN FACT: Elizabeth Warren called Elon Musk a "freeloader" in 2021 and said we have to "change the rigged tax code so The Person of the Year will actually pay taxes."

Musk paid $11,000,000,000 that year in taxes.
