I know you’re a busy person and barely have time to check on your parents, but today is Sunday , find time to call them. Just hear how they’re doing, catch up, and ask how life is treating them. No matter how old you are, you will always be your parents’ child. Today, be that child and stop being a busy adult.
A lesson I’ve learned the hard way is that ; life isn’t about the material things we possess; it’s about the memories we create with those we cherish. We spend so much time chasing our goals that we forget to spend time with the people we love. And when we finally look back, it hurts to see that the ones we worked so hard for never got to enjoy the things we built and we never created the memories that truly matter.
Picture this: you’re gone, and your spirit stands next to your coffin. What do you think you’ll regret not having done?
Making more money?
It’s in the petty arguments where the lack of consideration seeps in…
Where you’re reminded that maybe this being isn’t for you as much as you’d like them to.
It’s in harsh tones and dismissive words where you crawl to cry after being slapped on the hand for reaching out for their love.
It’s in these little things where the bigger picture paints it’s self….
There’s a severe relaxation that comes with a being knowing you love them too much.
There’s a perfect spot on your face that they spit on until a well becomes.
They hate you for being soft and somewhat inlove.
They tear apart anything that makes you happy or free.
Now tell me how that is love?
