Hermen Hulst is the guy who thought Concord would be “the future of PlayStation,” pushed for the panic acquisition of Bungie, and greenlit the development of Horizon: Hunters Gathering instead of a Killzone reboot. Under his leadership, Sony Interactive Entertainment have seen over $1B in value destruction, including ~$765M in impairment losses and ~$400M from the Concord / Firewalk failure. He is a walking, talking financial hazard to the entertainment industry
Disrespectfully @Sony@PlayStation
FUCK YOU .... Y'all clowns cant make a good live service game but end up neutering a studio that actually can.
@hermenhulst .... Y'all cant make a live service game thats successful without Bungie
HUGE MISTAKE
@HeyAnora I hope you all are able to find jobs quickly. I love the work the RaD team did. Thank you for all the memories. If there is members of the team that don't have socials please let them know that the community are hoping for them.
Already angry thinking about all the stories that we are NO DOUBT going to hear in the coming weeks from those affected by the layoffs.
"we pushed for X, they said no. we pushed for Y, they said no."
I GUARANTEE you this will be the tune, 0 doubt in my mind.
Do NOT go gentle in to that good night. RAGE, RAGE, against the dying of the light. I will keep raging. I will keep playing. Until the end. #wewantdestiny3
It's crazy how much the algorithm is pushing literally every single Destiny post I've made since Tuesday
Really hope this shows the right person in the right place how much this franchise actually matters. Keep it up, Guardians!
I decided to jump into @DestinyTheGame for the first time in almost 2 years, to make sure I could get the Old Lights emblem.
I was not expecting to have the reaction I did.
The flood of emotions that came as the memories of days gone past came back to me. Remembering all the late nights watching and playing with @_RocketBear_, @Legendaryladman and the rest of the crew on @WatchMixer . Of spending countless hours throughout the day chasing down exotic quests with the help of DIM and online guides.
Destiny was very much a bright light (forgive the pun) during some very dark times for many people, myself included. Being back in that world has moved me to the point of fighting back the tears. Even though it has changed a lot over the years it still takes me back to those late night raids.
I may not have been as interested or involved over the last few years, but god damn I don't want it to end like this.

Destiny fans aren't backing down when it comes to demanding Destiny 3 and have continued their pleas during the Summer Game Fest stream. https://t.co/V0GLyBHNF3
