@WANGHAF What? Another new er generation syaing the older generations don't know shit. You know, the generations that made this you are hiding your face on. Not a boomer and I still find this ironically hilarious
@HomeDepot I think you might have a fullfilment problem. You boast delivery from your website in "2 days" but the last 2 times I've ordered something from your website, I got delay emails on the day it was supposed to arrive, including this current order I have.
@TheLtColUSMC As an old Army grunt, I can tell you this airframe saved our bacon on at least 2 occasions in Desert Storm. What a beautiful airframe. I'm sad to see it go.
@GigaBasedDad The only word out of my mouth would be "Ok, I'll make that happen" and then drive her home in silence. It's her job to square away yourself. It aint my job. She got a mirror in the car, she probably got a mirror in her purse.
“They Stood The Watch”
This Memorial Weekend I’m sharing a song I wrote called “They Stood The Watch.”
It’s a full 6 minutes long. I know that’s longer than most things people listen to these days, but if you have a few quiet minutes, I’d be honored if you gave it the whole listen.
This one is for the 13 Americans who gave their lives at Abbey Gate in Kabul on August 26, 2021 and for the 45 who were wounded that day and still carry those scars.
They didn’t run.
They didn’t hide.
They faced the fire with eyes open wide.
And even now… they still stand the watch. Sat on this one for a long time actually, long angry one. I took the anger out of it.
The video is a collage of AI-generated images I created so there are no copyright issues. I didn’t want to just use one still photo I wanted something that moved with the song.
Never forgotten.
Semper Fi.
If there is a foundation in their honor and they want this song, just let me know, they can have it use it however they please.
