I congratulate the formation of the American-Mexican caucus, demonstrating the important role of leaders in Washington who understand the deep and vital connection between the United States and Mexico together with Canada. The 520 million people of North America will create a powerhouse of democracy and prosperity for the three countries and the entirety of the Americas. Congratulations to Amb. @NathalieRayes, Executive Director Sergio Gonzales, and caucus co-chairs Rep. @JoaquinCastrotx and @RepRudyYakym for their leadership on the American Mexican Leadership council, and honored to be joined by @SenRubenGallego to mark the occasion. It’s an idea whose time has come.
We are thrilled to be partnering with the American Mexican Leadership Council in launching the U.S.-Mexico Caucus to further strengthen ties between both nations. 🇺🇸 🤝 🇲🇽
Mexico is one of America’s most important strategic partners.
What happens at our border, in our supply chains, and in the fight against the drug cartels directly impacts American families every single day.
That is why I’m proud to join the bipartisan U.S.-Mexico Caucus to strengthen this alliance, protect our national security, and keep building a stronger and more competitive hemisphere.
