I’m an ICU RN, dad, and 40+ runner building endurance around 12-hour night shifts and real life.
Late Peak is where I write about running, recovery, discipline, gear, and what it takes to stay consistent when life isn’t ideal.
No fake hustle. No perfect routines. Just practical lessons from someone doing it tired.
Follow if you’re building strength, endurance, and durability in the middle of a real adult life.
@WallStreetApes This Wired journalist has proven his is, in fact, a moron with this experiment. Deciding to nothing but processed protein powders wrapped in food items instead of real foods I.e. eggs, meats, beans, etc proves he’s either dumb or knowingly deceitful.
@mtaibbi So her logic goes as follows, if there is someone enslaved within a society at the time of that society’s revolution, then the entire justification or value of that revolution is nullified…

Congratulations to @elonmusk and the SpaceX team. You did what countless people said was impossible, and you did it time and time again.
Today is your day. You deserve this. May it be a glorious one.
@perrybassett59 It’s LA. Anyone who’s ever lived there knows, it’s never full until after the event starts. Traffic is crazy and everyone is always late.
I’ve been nursing some foot/lateral ankle soreness (area marked in red also wraps under mid-foot) the past few days. I think I pushed up my miles too quickly this week. Anyone have any suggestions on therapy exercises?
