SUSPECTED DRUG TRAFFICKER ‘SPY’ GUNNED DOWN IN DAYLIGHT AMBUSH
Suspected Bahamian drug trafficker Warren “Spy” Ellis, 51, has been shot dead in a broad-daylight ambush outside a business in Marsh Harbour, Abaco.
Witnesses reported a barrage of gunfire, with at least 25 shell casings reportedly recovered at the scene.
A 14-year-old boy was also shot in the leg during the attack and airlifted to New Providence.
Ellis had previously survived a 2017 shooting which killed an associate.
His death has reportedly become the 52nd homicide recorded in The Bahamas this year.
Police are investigating the killing, with reports suggesting it may have been a retaliatory attack.
