Mormon: What do I need to be saved?
Evangelical: Do you believe in Jesus?
Mormon: Yes.
Evangelical: The Jesus of the Bible?
Mormon: Yes.
Evangelical: That Jesus is the Son of God?
Mormon: Yes.
Evangelical: That He died for your sins?
Mormon: Yes.
Evangelical: That He rose from the dead?
Mormon: Yes.
Evangelical: That He’s the only way to salvation?
Mormon: Yes.
Evangelical: Then why don’t you believe in Jesus?
Mormon: …I just said I do.
Evangelical: No, not that Jesus.
Mormon: Which Jesus?
Evangelical: The Biblical Jesus.
Mormon: The one who is the Son of God, died for sins, rose from the dead, and is the only way to salvation?
Evangelical: Yes.
Mormon: That’s the one I believe in.
Evangelical: No, you believe in a different Jesus.
Mormon: How is He different?
Evangelical: Because you don’t believe in the right Jesus.
Mormon: Which Jesus is the right Jesus?
Evangelical: The Biblical Jesus.
Mormon: …
Evangelical: …
Mormon: We’ve been standing in this same circle for three hours, haven’t we?
Evangelical: That’s exactly what someone who doesn’t believe in the Biblical Jesus would say.
@PVTJoeSnuffy666@Mormonger@Catholic_bro Not all religions lead to God, only Jesus Christ. You're quoting the 11th article of faith, and it's saying we believe in religious freedoms and not persecuting people for their beliefs (aslong as it doesn't infringe the rights of others). Agency is key to God's plan!
@ovrclockedjesus@____Sh4d0w_____ Incredibly juvenile for you to claim. Yes there is corruption among every office and state. The correlation of them being mormon is not the causation. The exact same could be claimed about Catholics, Protestants, Jews, and any other religion. Do better.

@Aeon212 @Ava_AM12ff You don't see my point with the drunk driving. Of course nobody consents to crashing, but when you decide to have sex you are accepting the chance that you might have a baby. The same goes for drunk driving. A lack of responsibility is what destroys a nation.
@Aeon212 @Ava_AM12ff Why doesn't it have that right? The baby didn't choose to be in the mothers body. Infact, 99% of the time (less than 1% of abortions are rape,) the mother chose to have sex which in consequence produces a baby. That's like driving drunk and not consenting to crashing.
@Aeon212 @Ava_AM12ff I think it's crazy with the amount of mental gymnastics you're doing to compare a rapist to a baby. Instead of focusing on this one minute definition, look at them in the bigger picture. A rapist is significantly different than a baby. A baby does not deserve death.
@Aeon212 @Ava_AM12ff Minority or not, would you be atleast willing to ban the abortion procedure if you're going to bother bringing it up, leaving it to the pill only? Along with this, killing a rapist does violate their body but also they raped someone, a baby didn't rape anyone.
@Aeon212 @Ava_AM12ff And abortion doesn't violate another person's (baby's) body and autonomy by cutting them into pieces and them sucking them up with a vacuum cleaner? Also, isn't abortion treating the baby more like an object than the pregnant mother? Bit confused.
