Cornwall's enchanting Launceston Steam Railway, running from the historic town of Launceston, through the glorious Kensey Valley, to the hamlet of Newmills
All change. Covertcoat being towed by diesel Simplex and put into the main workshop ready to have work done ready for her 10 year boiler exam. The Gherkin had to be moved out and then back in again.
We reopen for the 2018 on Sunday 20th May, and trains will be running on the yellow shaded dates shown in the calendar.
Please note - due to the early date of Easter this year, and major repair work currently underway on our workshop roof, we will not be open at Easter.
Wishing all our friends, visitors, suppliers and customers a very happy new year. We will keep you updated on our new year opening dates/times soon.πππ
