This beauty has sat unused for the whole of 2022! It's time to crack the pens out and get back to #journalingteacher 📔🖍

@OwlBeSatReading I've banned myself from buying any books in 2023 😬 I did, however, buy a Kindle last night 🙈 the free books on Amazon Prime don't count as buying books, right?!?

[Laura A #FE @LauraA3103]

@OwlBeSatReading I always stand by buying books and reading books being 2 totally different hobbies, and unfortunately, I have a problem with both 😂

[Laura A #FE @LauraA3103]

@OwlBeSatReading It's a Police crime series that I came across by accident in Barter Books, but I absolutely loved them all. Santa decided that I had enough books and only got me 1 for Christmas 😔 but Waterstones sale day is here 🥳

[Laura A #FE @LauraA3103]

@OwlBeSatReading Me too! Have you ever read any Cody McFadyen? His first book, Shadow Man, I had to put down multiple times! No, I didn't see that end coming AT All! It was a really beautifully written book, actually, despite the grim topic

[Laura A #FE @LauraA3103]

@OwlBeSatReading Would you find me odd if said I didn't think it was that bad 🤔 Some parts of it were definitely horrifying, but I was expecting much worse!

[Laura A #FE @LauraA3103]

@OwlBeSatReading I'm almost finished reading Ghost Signs, which is horrifying in a whole different way! I think I might need to save my Christmas money for some kind of therapy 😂
