@RTEbusiness How about incentivising companies and employees to work remotely? #nobrainer when it comes to discouraging private car use! @connectedhubs
@DPCIreland This is great news! I could never understand how this could be allowed in recent years as it takes the negotiation out of the deal. I believe this will help stabilise house prices.

@culladgh I don’t hear much empathy from @LeoVaradkar about families that have particularly difficult situations. I am also fortunate but not every family is and I like living in a society where our country does have a duty of care for those less fortunate. It’s the right thing to do.
"The pace of growth in labour costs will then be the dominant driver of core inflation," the Governor of the Central Bank said.
Why we can’t have more joined up thinking between government and economists?
We had the fastest lift in employment costs this past year. Sensible? No!
It’s time the fast pace of increased employer costs were highlighted. Employers want to pay employees correctly but speedy increased costs do not allow adequate budgeting adjustments before costs take effect for employers #costofhiring
Employers group Ibec has written to the Taoiseach to highlight concerns about the rising cost of doing business, and specifically the pace and scale of Government-imposed labour costs. https://t.co/flTvA6cUBe
@jenhoganjourno It’s such a pity remote working isn’t embraced more. It’s mutually beneficial for the employer (increased talent available) and the employee’s work life balance (thus reduced staff turnover) #flexidesk#WorkLifeBalance
@CWeston_Indo I visited family in Vancouver this Summer, air con units going in every house, electricity a quarter of Irish price, it’s a scandal here how little our government is doing for the electorate
More and more people are thinking of becoming or are being asked to become non-exec directors of companies, charities and other organisation. But what responsibilities go with being at the board table? https://t.co/GeNXBy0Pkq
@OHanlonEilis I think the core frustration is the lack of individual accountability. Accountability is the core of the private sector and until accountability exists in the public sector, further occurrences will most certainly occur. Reviews of RTE are pointless when no penalties exist.
