Based on # of reads, the most useful thing I've ever written is a comparison of #PrincipalComponentsAnalysis and #ExploratoryFactorAnalysis. I decided to share it with a wider audience by publishing it on Medium. Please share with those who might benefit https://t.co/IetzKZffN8
Super excited to teach, along with Haley Yaremych, a longitudinal SEM workshop at #SPSP2025. I couldn't be more excited given this is my favorite topic!! Please share with those who might be interested to attend. Details: https://t.co/oZB0Vp4EZ5
This article gives a phenomenal overview of the history and evolution of best practices in measurement invariance and differential item functioning -- I can't remember the last time I learned so much from reading a single paper, highly recommended!

Friends don't let friends do chi-square difference tests by hand... especially when you can fit all your
#SEM models in one report and compare them interactively. #StructuralEquationModeling#JMPSoftware
One week left to sign up if you want to learn latent growth modeling with me through @StatHorizons Jan 18 to Jan 20 !
If you wanted to learn it with @curranbauer or @GregoryRHancock but missed their recent courses and I'm your only option left, that is totally cool too
"Your job this week is to redo all those R models in JMP" said a professor to a grad student last week after seeing a demo of JMP Pro #StructuralEquationModeling platform! These comments are a huge motivation for me to keep making the #SEM platform in #JMPPro the best of its kind
NEW PAPER ALERT:
I couldn't be more excited that this invited APA Handbook chapter, co-authored by Craig Enders, is now published (link to paper and supplemental materials below).
Bc I hope this chapter will be broadly useful to students and instructors, a brief overview🧵 1/n:

I am continuing to add additional pdfs as they come in...

7 years today since I drove into the @SASsoftware campus to start a new chapter of my life working with @JMP_software. What a rewarding professional career it’s been so far! Grateful for the amazing people I’ve met and work with along the way!!
I’m excited to share my multiple-group analysis post with a wider audience! If you #teach#StructuralEquationModeling I promise the last section here makes a great assignment for your students! #AcademicTwitter#SEM
In a clear and accessible explainer, Laura Castro-Schilo guides us through the process of conducting multiple-group analysis in the context of structural equation modeling.

@DataRocksNZ @InsightsMachine My preferred tool is @JMP_software. I'm a big fan of their #dataviz team (@xangregg) and it provides lots of advanced analysis that you can't find in Tableau or PowerBI. If it were a few years ago I would probably get into R, but having a business case was always a problem.

I'm a big fan of high-level, jargon-free, intro readings of complex topics prior to getting into technical material. This blog post might help those learning multiple-group analysis in #StructuralEquationModeling as a first reading https://t.co/XtfBfoTOnt
We are hiring a lab coordinator for two grant-funded projects that are centered on ecological momentary assessment (EMA) data collection among adults at heightened suicide risk. If interested, more information provided here: https://t.co/RFAxcWGPYq

I couldn’t agree more! The system fosters impostor syndrome and some of us have a harder time dealing with it than others. I overworked myself to the point it hurt my health… so I had to call it quits. I have deep admiration for those who can navigate the system!
