I learned the resistance to that news was fear-based, widespread, and dangerous. And is still.

In my office, I regularly see severely ill teens with eating disorders that were triggered by a pediatrician telling them to lose weight.

The new AAP guidelines promoting bariatric surgery & weight loss medication for children will only create more eating disorders. 💔
