I enjoyed attending the Virginia Democratic Women's Caucus Breakfast on Saturday! Thank you to the VADEM Women's Caucus Chair Hala Ayala, and to all the women who put together such a great event!

I care about the values of the 12th Senate District of Virginia. Affordability, support for families, and sharing a community vision are important! What issues do you care the most about?

Tonight I attended the Richmond, Washington and Lee Legal Community alumni chapter Happy Hour. It was great talking to others from W&L about the legal representation that they provide. I graduated in 2018, and I value the legal education and legal knowledge W&L provided.
Monday, I had the opportunity to speak at the Chesterfield Young Democrats Meeting, and tonight we hosted our Community Meeting, where we watched the Chesterfield Board of Supervisors Meeting virtually together and discussed our thoughts.
I attended the Chesterfield NAACP Freedom Fund Gala at Virginia State University. Congratulations to the award recipients, Mason Manley, the Honorable Tiffany Booker, Stephen Miller-Pitts, and Senator Michael (Mike) Jones. Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan's speech was inspiring!
Last week, on Tuesday and Thursday, I had meetings with the James River Soil and Water Board. We had a personnel subcommittee meeting and then the general board meeting. One goal that I've had as a Director is to make sure that our district is very accessible to the public.
Happy Father's Day to my two dads! My Dad, Brian Kleiner, is the Director for the Myers-Lawson School of Construction at Virginia Tech. My Dad/father-in-law, Warren Thompson, is retired from the NYPD/Police and is my neighbor in Chesterfield. I appreciate their support!
Last Wednesday, I attended the VA Congressional First District Town Hall at Midlothian Library in Chesterfield. I'll be on the ballot in 2027, but I love hearing from the candidates running this year.
Thank you, Senator Mike Jones, Senator L. Louise Lucas, and Senator Mamie E. Locke, for hosting the Data Center Listening Tour yesterday at Manchester Middle School! I don't support tax giveaways to data center companies!
Tuesday, I attended a subcommittee meeting for the personnel committee for the James River Soil and Water Conservation District. Since being elected to the District, we've doubled our staff and our offices, including an office at the Central Library in Chesterfield.
What are your thoughts on data centers? You can have your voice heard by joining Senate President Pro Tempore Louise Lucas and Senator Mike Jones for a listening tour on the future of data centers in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

I enjoyed talking to so many families today at the River City Sportsplex's new playground and splashpad in Chesterfield! One thing that I want to do as a Senator is to help support more social environments for young adults, also.
Good evening. Please check out our campaign page, which includes a link to our public event calendar and social media links. https://t.co/xWq52GPqHF

This evening, learned more about the great work YWCA is doing and its new initiative, the Heights, housing that supports survivors of domestic violence. https://t.co/E6W4791r7T If you need survivor support services, please call or text 804-612-6126.
Unfortunately, tonight's community discussion will need to be rescheduled. We'll post an update with the new date and time. Laura is undergoing some unexpected medical testing this evening. She is expected to be fine, but won't be available in time for the meeting.
