In case of a grid collapse, I have prepared in the following way. I stockpiled on firewood for cooking. I have earmarked pots I will use to boil water and cook our daily meals in. I stockpiled water, rice, sugar, flour, eggs, pasta, tinned food, toilet paper, soap for basin baths, weetbix, powder milk, etc. Remember you will not be able to get your money out of the bank, your cellphone won't work, shops will be looted, you won't get gas either. Going out of your house will be extremely dangerous. The streets will be full of people looking for food. Make a list of everything your Family might need to survive and keep it in your house. Hope none of this is necessary, but let's be prepared.
