@YHCAthletics Peculiar that some men’s golf members were left off the list. Might want to check golf team GPA and ask the coach about the players left off.
@JohnLegere I’m sure many jobs have been saved. Mergers lead to layoffs even though leaders claim job growth. Would also increase costs for trips to the grocery store.
You know first hand mergers mean job losses.
To give back for #D2Day and Giving Day, YHC student-athletes participated in community service across four locations in Blairsville, Hiawassee, and Young Harris! #JourneYHere 💜
@JohnLegere Yeah, I know it all too well! Husband and friends went from yellow to magenta and were laid off after promises of new jobs and no losses with the merger. 27 years meant nothing to magenta. Let’s hope that after a year of unemployment our status can change!
Still chuckling at the comment from my co-worker, “I forgot it was ugly sweater day.” Hmmm, “Me too!”
Be careful out there, just because they are wearing a sweater, it might not be an “Ugly Sweater!”
Luckily those sitting nearby shared in my shock and we shared a good laugh!

YHC Men's Golf open their Fall season with a 5th place finish at the King Invitational posting back-to-back 282s! Congrats to Colin Henderson on a Top 10 finish in his first college tournament!
@JohnLegere TMo sure had had a go at cutting jobs this week and this last year. Sadly, the layoff and these so-called “seasonal ups and downs” have really thrown a wrench in our family’s finances. But hey, just a year-long season of unemployment. No need to panic, right?
